Spend a whole day exploring fun and creative all new S.T.E.A.M. activities (Science Technology Engineering Art & Maths) in a calm and inspiring atmosphere. We'll be designing, building and testing creations & enjoying messy Process Art experiments (new activities every holidays)
Mon 13th July
Make your own awesome & ridiculous cardboard box giant mask! Kids will have the freedom to decorate their masks any way they want using a variety of colourful & shiny materials. Boxheads are inspired by the work of the amazing Let’s Make Art UK and so much fun to make! We’ll also be drawing & painting up a storm in the afternoon and playing dress ups. Thur 2nd, Mon 6th & Wed 15th July
Take inspiration from street artists and create a “Graffiti Canvas” using a variety of techniques - tape resist, stencilling, paint markers + stickers to proudly display on your wall at home. Do you love tape? In the afternoon we’ll be making an amazing enormous collaborative mural all over the studio floor using electrical tape. It’s going to be BIG!
Fri 17th & Mon 20th
Spend the morning learning all about clay! Use a variety of ceramic techniques such as pinch pots, coil-making, slab-rolling & joining skills to create clay animal sculptures of your choice. We’ll then let you loose on our craft supplies to decorate your wild animals any way you wish. In the afternoon kids will unleash wild imaginary animals using cardboard sculpture (Please note clay will not be fired)
Create your very own wearable dragon wings - or fairy, butterfly or bird wings! Using simple materials & techniques learn how to make impressive and gorgeously-colourful wings - perfect for imaginative play. In the afternoon we'll be creating paintings featuring our wings using a range of materials.
