Description

YES YOU CAN JOIN ANY TIME DURING THE TERM

This class is designed specifically for students in years 3 -6.

SUPERVISION PROVIDED FROM 3PM (Play and eat snack)

Lesson starts at 3:30pm. Artmaking until 4:30-40 then pack up.

Little Ginger Studio offers an innovative after-school Visual Art program with a focus on nurturing each child’s individual creativity.

This class is designed for Upper Primary and includes a program featuring more  challenging artistic projects & techniques. Projects are completed over longer periods. Printmaking, painting techniques and craft projects may also be explored including clay.

Students draw inspiration from contemporary Art & Design, Media and Fashion Illustration, Nature, their immediate surroundings, movies and technology. Each term offers a new program around a loose central theme that develops over the course of the term as the students and teacher work together to develop the artworks.

As with our Kids Fun classes, exploration of materials is key, and students are exposed to and experiment with many types of art-making and a variety of media to create high-quality artworks.

Students find our classes equal parts relaxing, exciting and esteem-building and are encouraged to create in a supportive environment.

Taught by professional Watercolour artist & experienced Art Educator Kate De Kantzow

Danielle is the most wonderful art teacher - my daughter has attended her after school (and holiday) classes for five years since Kindergarten and absolutely loves creating the most wonderful pieces each term.

We love Danielle and her art classes. Danielle has opened her my daughter to learn many different techniques which she also uses at home. The classes are not only educational, they are fun! My daughter loves these classes and always looks forward to them each week. I'm so glad that we chose to do these classes, they are brilliant!
